Job Description

We are proud to say that in 2019 we have launched a first class suite of cutting edge cloud-based business systems - Salesforce, Apttus and ClickSoftware - for JDE Professional in 8 markets (Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Spain).  These new systems are underpinned by a complete overhaul and global harmonisation of all operational business processes.  Together these new processes and products will dramatically enhance our customers’ experience of JDE Professional and our ability to drive growth with them.  Internally these changes will also transform the way we work in Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations: from lead generation, to webshop sales, to automated contract creation, through to dynamic route planning for our field engineers.

But going live with these new processes and systems is just the start of the journey.  From May 2019 we also created a brand new Professional DevOps team to ensure these new processes are adopted effectively in all markets and that the suite of products remain fit for the future.  This team consists of both business and IT roles, working together seamlessly as one virtual team in a bi-weekly sprint schedule. 

We’re inviting you to join our DevOps organisation. As an intern you will join a cross-functional team and work along Global and Local Product Teams, users, developers and other relevant stakeholders and deep-dive in our solutions. You will deliver a user adoption report and recommendations that will be actually implemented and used and will not end up in drawer.


What You’ll Do

  • Measuring, enquiring, analysing, and reporting on actual user data from various systems throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Collaborating with various cross-functional international teams at JDE, to visualize and document all internal and external stakeholders needs excellent and create consistent customer experience.
  • Investigate market trends on adoption improvement and share best practices.
  • Consolidate all the numbers, findings, recommendations into a concrete report and improvement plan.

In order to be successful in this role you need to:

  • Be a bachelor or master student in the field of IT related studies
  • Live in The Netherlands.
  • Have affinity with IT and the latest (cross media) technologies and adoption management.
  • Know how to write attractive and understandable content about sometimes complicated (technical) topics.
  • Be independent, ambitious and result-driven.
  • Be pragmatic, proactive, and you enjoy coming up with new ideas.
  • Work in an accurate and structured manner.
  • Be an enthusiastic team player.
  • Be fluent in English. Dutch is a nice to have.

  • 40 hours internship for three to six months.

  • Internship allowance (the monthly internship allowance is € 500,- for a WO student, based on a fulltime 40 hour workweek) and travel compensation.

 The internship starts per February and the duration will be 6 months.
