As part of the JDE eCommerce Team, you will join a team with the mandate to make our vision a reality and contribute to the rapid growth of JDEs e-commerce business.

The JDE Global eCommerce Team is a young and experienced team of digital & eCommerce experts. We are responsible for developing the global eCommerce activities and online experience for JDE and work in close alignment with local markets and other global departments. Working with us means you’ll be making an impact in a fast-paced, collaborative and international environment. We work in a full agile setup, celebrating success and supporting one another.

In your role as intern you will be working in one of our direct or indirect eCommerce channels scrum teams on daily tasks as well as your own projects: Indirect B2C: Grocery online & PurePlayers, or direct B2C: .Com e-shops, market places, and social commerce. You will learn very fast on digital eCommerce and work in a dedicated and energetic team of 35+ FTE.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate e-commerce campaigns through CRM and onsite content communication: e.g. you will run L’OR campaigns around specific moments (e.g. Easter) throughout the year in 5 European markets.
  • Brief promotional campaigns for onsite content and CRM to our external marketing agencies (e.g. brief an awesome summer sale in terms of content to ensure a boost in our online sales)
  • Provide support on different phases of translation projects (e.g. that new ice coffee recipe which you have written together with our SEO agency needs to be checked and finalized by our local markets within the set deadline)
  • Ensure a great customer experience through updating the content of our entire L’OR assortment (e.g. be the one who discovers that images aren’t up to date anymore and have them briefed and implemented correctly)
  • Work on your own e-commerce project and initiatives (e.g. site optimization, improve SEO, launch new product/market/service, facilitate A/B tests)
  • You identify and report monthly on the objectives and KPIs, so we know what opportunities you see and we can jointly put a plan in place.
  1. In your role, you will be the contact person for multiple markets and coordinate various campaigns and product launches
  2. You will be responsible for the development of the campaign material in collaboration with external stakeholders
  3. You will analyse the performance and coordinate the campaigns of CRM

To be successful in this internship:

  • You are currently enrolled in a University, following a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the area of marketing
  • Have outstanding results in study and in broader curricular activities like: sports, associations or your own business, are eager to learn and have a hands-on mentality. 
  • Experience and/or affinity with e-commerce/digital marketing
  • Experience with JIRA is a plus
  • Able to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Attention to detail and well-organized
  • Good communication skills in English

Additional Information

To be successful in this role you need to be enrolled at a University for the whole duration of the internship and this needs to be a mandatory part of your study curriculum. Please note that if you are a non-EU citizen you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University to be considered as a candidate. 

The monthly internship allowance is € 450,- for a HBO student or € 500,- for a WO student, based on a fulltime 40 hour workweek. We also provide additional support if daily travelling to work is required. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad
