“Are you the ambitious, result-driven warehouse & distribution manager who is challenged by executing your improvement plans in an international fast-paced environment?“

As our European Warehouse & Distribution Manager you will be responsible for the strategy and execution of optimizations for warehouse and distribution, across disciplines and across countries in Europe. A big focus point of your work will be on network assessment & network design optimization as well as building and steering the sustainability agenda of all outbound transports, to achieve our CO2 emission reduction targets. Besides that, you will also assess the current W&D cost reporting structure/tools and work out the optimal to-be process/tools. Your overall objective is to reduce costs and our CO2 footprint, while improving service level.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director Benelux/Global Business Development, you will have the following European scope to manage :

  • All FG Warehouses in Europe
  • Outbound transport from the warehouses to our customers
  • Pallet pool
  • CO2 emission & sustainability roadmap

These activities are largely outsourced to multiple Logistic Service Providers.

To be successful in this role, you have a master’s degree combined with 8+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of logistics combined with experience in operational management of multiple warehouse and distribution locations and providers.

Understanding of Direct-to-Consumer supply is an advantage. Further you have achieved demonstrable results, being fact based and data driven and having the end goal in mind. You will have to deal with ambiguity, have an entrepreneurial attitude, are a challenger and have persuasive leadership skills
