Job Description

In your role as Global IT Application Landscape Intern you will be supporting the team in updating the current application landscape to ensure applications are registered in the application database with up to date details, that all installation packages are linked to a database record and are available in the latest software version. To do this you will be coordinating with application owners globally across the Global Information Service (GIS) team as well as JDE’s 3rd party providers. You will also support the GIS team in establishing a governance process to ensure the application portfolio remain up to date in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Document the current application packages and establish a link to application database records
  • Contact application owners to ensure details are up to date
  • Identify old or multiple versions of software installations and work with the 3rd party packaging team and application owners to update to the latest version
  • Support the GIS Service Delivery team in establishing a governance process to ensure this details remain up to date in the future.

For this role as a Global IT Application Landscape Intern, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor in IT/Business IT
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active
  • Driven and result-oriented: you want to make things happen
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment whilst maintaining high attention for detail 
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Your application at JDE

The monthly internship allowance is € 500,- for a WO student and € 450,- for a HBO student, based on a fulltime 40 hour workweek. The length of the assignment is 6 months with a starting date in August/ September 2022 (earlier is possible).

Please note that if you are a non-EU citizen you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University to be considered as a candidate.
