Global FP&A Manager Operations

Job Description

The Global FP&A Manager Operations cooperates with the Global FP&A Director and the Global Operations Finance Director to drive financial performance of the Supply Chain and Manufacturing  (referred to as “Operations”) organization by making recommendations to optimize financial performance. This includes providing support throughout the company as regarding the performance analysis, multi-year operating plan (budget) development and forecasting. Risk and opportunity management is an integral part of the job responsibility, compromising a wide geographical scope.

As a Global FP&A Manager Operations you will provide support in in-depth Operations analysis (costs and capital expenditures) and drive recommendations for optimizations. You will be the linking pin between corporate finance and the various local finance functions. Moreover, you will report to the Global FP&A Director and have no direct reports.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Executing KPI analysis including cost of goods sold and owning the Global Operations Capital Expenditures process. Providing  proposals on actions and internal messaging as well as executing;
  • Driving the annual operating plan budget for Operations. Being highly involved in target setting in context of the overall companies objective and ambition;
  • Contributing to preparation of key management team meetings  (Operations Leadership Team, FP&A, ExCo, stakeholder management where applicable);
  • Coordinating business processes, including compliance and control execution;
  • Providing analytical support and data, periodic and on ad-hoc basis;
  • Supporting the Global FP&A Business & Operations Director on the onboarding, training and development of the junior analysts;
  • Driving standardization and efficiency in manufacturing financial management across our factories.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Auditing;
  • 6-8 years relevant (Supply Chain / Operations) working experience, preferably in similar FP&A / analysis roles;
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Strong understanding of (commercial) business acumen, people management skills.
