Job Description
As Manager Planning & Logistics for our Coffee & Tea factory in Joure (Netherlands) you are part of the European Supply Chain Organization, you are a member of the factories leadership team and you lead the planning & logistics team at the factory. In this role you and your team are responsible for the Supply Chain from packing materials and green coffee supply until delivery of finished goods to our warehouses across the globe. You will have full accountability to deliver on People, Service, Cost and Cash targets.
As Planning & Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Deliver excellent results through engaged leadership, coaching and team development
- With your team (22 FTE), execute the supply chain processes of the factory in an efficient and effective way
- Be the primary interface with JDE’s central supply chain organization and external suppliers
- Set the long-term vision for the Supply Chain area and establishes the right plan to reach it
- Support the roll out of JDE’s Continuous Improvement Program and act as role model for the plant
- As member of the leadership team, contribute to the overall performance and development of the factory

For this role as Manager Planning and Logistics, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- Master degree, 5+ years’ experience in Operations or Supply Chain environment, preferably in FMCG
- Experience in Leadership roles
- Excellent change and people management skills
- Experience with SAP and APO preferred
- Dutch preferred, fluent in English
